    Volunteers Needed

The smooth running of the Festival relies on the work of a dedicated team of volunteers. Without these willing hands we simply could not function. Our pool of helpers is growing but the more we have the more we can spread the tasks and broaden our audiences.

Are you interested in getting involved with a vibrant, enthusiastic team who are passionate about supporting the arts in the Richmond area? If so, why not become a steward at the festival?

    Volunteers are needed to:

    • sell entrance tickets & programmes at the door on the day & ensure festival runs smoothly and efficiently.
    • check in the performers.
    • announce the competitions and individual items.
    • assist the Section Secretaries with the preparation of certificates & notices in advance of the Festival.
    • set up the refreshment area and oversee the sales of light refreshments during the Festival sessions.
    • organise the trophies for the Music sections.

If you have more time available the Section Secretaries are always very grateful for help during the year!

If you would like to help in any way or know of anybody who would be interested, perhaps a family member or former pupil, please contact Heidi Pegler (richmondfestival.vocal@gmail.com) or any of the other Section Secretaries who will be delighted to hear from you.he organisers of the Festival are most grateful for the support of all our volunteers.

Engaging the community is at the heart of what we do. We invite local schools, organizations, and individuals to participate in our festival, creating a vibrant tapestry of performances that reflect the diversity of Richmond.
